Gaby Shemer

Gaby Shemer is an experienced professional in business development and commercialization, currently serving as the Head of Business Development at Scala Biodesign since December 2023. Prior to this role, Gaby held positions including Entrepreneur-in-Residence at InNegev and Co-Founder & CEO of a stealth startup. As Sr. Director of Commercialization & Growth at The Builders, Gaby directed the commercialization process of startups, facilitating partnerships with major corporations while leading innovation initiatives in collaboration with researchers and technology transfer units. Previous roles include Executive Director of Business Development at T³-Technion Technology Transfer, where Gaby engaged with multinational companies to enhance the adoption of academic research. Gaby's academic background includes a PhD in Chemistry from Tel Aviv University and an MBA focused on Innovation and Entrepreneurship from the Technion.
