Johannes Weiss

Johannes Weiss has a diverse work experience spanning across multiple industries. Johannes is currently the Head of Engineering at Scalable Capital since November 2021. Prior to that, they held various roles at MAN Truck & Bus SE, including Team Lead, Cloud Architect from May 2019 to November 2021, Teamleiter Softwareentwicklung from August 2018 to May 2019, and Senior Lead Software Engineer from January 2018 to August 2018. Before joining MAN Truck & Bus SE, they worked as a Consulting Software Engineer at iSYS Software GmbH from October 2006 to November 2017. Johannes also has research experience, having worked as a Research Assistant at Munich University of Applied Sciences from May 2010 to June 2015.

Johannes Weiss pursued their education from 2001 to 2006 at Hochschule München University of Applied Sciences. There, they obtained a Master of Science degree in Wirtschaftsinformatik. In 2005, they also had the opportunity to study at KTH Royal Institute of Technology, focusing on Information Systems and Management. Later on, from 2011 to 2017, they attended Technische Universität Dresden, where they pursued a Ph.D. in Informatik.
