Carlos Fernandez

Carlos Fernandez has worked in the IT industry since 2009. Carlos began their career at Servicio Autónomo de Registros y Notarías (SAREN) as a Technical Support and Networking Administrator. In 2014, they joined Huawei Technologies as a Technical Team Leader Engineer, where they researched and answered inquiries from internal and external clients, integrated and O&M of DPI (Deep Packet Inspection) system solutions within mobile IP data networks, and effectively and timely resolved trouble tickets. In 2016, Carlos moved to Huawei Technologies as a Software Test Engineer and Technical Support Application. In this role, they designed, implemented, integrated and O&M building OCS (On line Charging System) solutions, resolved any related issues of the platform OCS that may arise from daily operations, and created and developed performance reports, delivery method, scope of work, and general duties records for the OCS. In 2018, Carlos began working at Mahindra Comviva as an Intregration & Analisys Engineer, where they were responsible for configuring, testing, deploying and diagnosing second level on platforms developed and/or marketed by the company for Telecommunication Companies in Argentina. In 2019, Carlos moved to Intraway as a Professional Services Consultant/BPM Developer and Technical Support Engineer. In their role as a Professional Services Consultant/BPM Developer, they were responsible for working on the design and development of business logic, process models/flows to implement in a BPM (Business Process Management)-based system. As a Technical Support Engineer, they were responsible for responding to customers’ needs in due time and manner, diagnosing and providing solutions to errors related to the company’s products or external platforms, and looking for solutions to complex problems. Carlos currently works at Escala 24x7 Inc. as a Cloud Engineer.

Carlos Fernandez attended Universidad Central de Venezuela from 2011 to 2014 where they obtained an Especialización en Comunicación y Redes de Computadoras in Computer Systems Networking and Telecommunications. Carlos then attended Universidad Centro Occidental 'Lisandro Alvarado' from 2003 to 2009 where they obtained an Informatic Engineering degree. Carlos also holds two certifications from Amazon Web Services (AWS): AWS Solutions Architect Associate (obtained in February 2022) and AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner (obtained in November 2021).
