Marvin Tumbo

Marvin Tumbo is a seasoned entrepreneur and leader with extensive experience in technology and communications. As Co-Founder and CEO of Scale Kenya since January 2020, Marvin has facilitated B2B e-Procurement connections between buyers and pre-vetted suppliers, enhancing formal trade among African businesses. Prior to this role, Marvin served as CEO of Socialight Media Limited for over a decade, delivering technology-driven solutions to businesses and governments. Additionally, Marvin held the position of IT and Communications Director at Utawala, supporting County Governors in data management and public engagement. Marvin contributed to the Uhuru Kenyatta Campaign as Digital Director, overseeing the strategy and establishment of key digital platforms. Educationally, Marvin holds a degree in Economics and Sociology from Egerton University.
