Oliver Alexander Flögel

Oliver Alexander Flögel serves as Managing Partner and Chairman of the Investment Committee at Scale Capital since May 2013. Previously, Oliver held the position of Independent Board Member at El Comercio from April 2017 to March 2023 and served as Country General Manager at Microsoft from April 2014 to July 2017. In the public sector, Oliver was the Executive Secretary for Digital Development at the Ministerio de Transportes y Telecomunicaciones de Chile from November 2011 to December 2012. Oliver's extensive experience in the telecommunications industry includes roles such as Chief Executive Officer of both Telefonica Chile and Telefonica Moviles Chile, as well as Deputy General Manager for M&A Latin America at Telefonica from January 2000 to December 2010. Oliver's educational background includes a Certificate in Company Direction from the Institute of Directors, a Master in Finance from Universidad del CEMA, and a Bachelor in Business Administration & IT from EU Business School.
