Steve Taggert

Steve Taggert is an accomplished event director and entrepreneur with extensive experience in the hospitality and entertainment sectors. Currently serving as the Event Director for the Scale UK Conference since May 2023, Steve facilitates connections among industry leaders in the short-term rentals market. As the Managing Director and Founder of My Getaways since August 2015, Steve has established a successful management company for holiday and corporate accommodations, focusing on innovation through bespoke software development. Prior experience includes a consulting role in management and marketing for the late-night sector and holding the position of Managing Director at Cage Records Ltd, overseeing multiple record labels and nightclub promotions. Steve holds a BEC in General Business Studies from Hounslow Borough College and a foundational education from Christ School.
