Mary Denten

Mary Denten is currently the Chief Financial Officer at Scale Venture Partners. Prior to this, they served as Treasurer for VCBC Board from January 2008 to January 2014. Mary has also held positions as CFO for Global Catalyst Partners from January 2002 to December 2007, Controller for Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers from January 1996 to December 2002, Senior Accountant & Financial Analyst for Polycom from January 1995 to December 1996, and Senior Audit Associate for PricewaterhouseCoopers from January 1992 to December 1995.

Mary Denten pursued a MBA in Management and Finance from Santa Clara University Leavey School of Business. Mary also holds a BS in Accounting from the same school. In addition, they have a degree in International Business & Law from Durham University.

Mary Denten reports to Dale Chang, Operating Partner. They are on a team with Bob Genchi - VP of IT, Hayley Hoad - VP of Operations & Compliance, and Erik Archer Smith - VP of Marketing. A direct report to Mary Denten is and Laura Sebastiani - VP of Finance.
