Ashli Shiftan

Ashli Shiftan currently serves as SVP, Head of People at Scale AI since October 2023. Prior experience includes roles at Palo Alto Networks, where Ashli held positions as Sr. Director and Director of People Business Partner for the Global Partnerships organization, focusing on organizational strategy, talent acquisition, and employee relations. Ashli worked at Uber from March 2016 to August 2020, holding various roles including Director of Strategy & Planning and Head of Global Benefits. Ashli began a career in consulting with Sequoia Consulting Group, providing strategic HR and benefits services, and has previous experience in insurance as a Senior Underwriter at Republic Indemnity and as a Corporate Management Development Associate at Great American Insurance Group. Early career highlights include internships with Congressman Brad Sherman, Councilman Jeffrey Prang, and the Council on Foreign Relations. Ashli Shiftan earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and History from UCLA between 2002 and 2006.
