Clemens Viernickel

Clemens Viernickel has extensive experience in the technology and artificial intelligence sectors, currently working in a product role at Scale AI since November 2021, following the acquisition of SiaSearch, where Clemens served as CEO and Co-Founder from April 2019. Prior to this, Clemens was a founding member of the German AI Association (KI Bundesverband e.V.) and an Entrepreneur In Residence at Merantix, focusing on AI ventures. Previous experience includes strategy and operations at Google, research assistance at the University of St. Gallen, and leadership roles at ESPRIT St. Gallen and win.rar GmbH. Clemens holds a Master of Public Administration in Digitalisation and Big Data from the Hertie School and a Bachelor of Arts in International and Global Studies from the University of St. Gallen, supplemented by studies at Sciences Po.
