Mohamed Shaaban

Mohamed Shaaban, PhD, is a prominent figure in the fields of artificial intelligence and physics, currently serving in Strategic Projects for Generative AI at Scale AI since July 2024. Previously, Mohamed was the AI Lead for the Canadian Market at Palantir Technologies, where leadership in AI/ML and LLM workflows resulted in significant returns on investment for enterprise clients. With extensive research experience at the University of Toronto, including roles as a Research Physicist in ultraviolet imaging satellites and balloon-borne spacecrafts for cosmology, Mohamed has made substantial contributions to space science. Additionally, Mohamed's educational background includes a PhD and MSc in Physics from the University of Toronto and a BS in Physics and Mathematics from the University of British Columbia.
