Sophia Prestin

Sophia Prestin has worked for a variety of companies since 1999. Sophia began their career as a Senior Developer at SideStep, then moved to Sidestep Inc. (Acquired by Kayak) in 2000 as a Senior Data Warehouse Engineer/DBA. In 2006, they were a Senior Data Warehouse Engineer at Makena Technologies, Inc., then in 2009, they became a Senior Manager, SaaS Production Operations and Senior DBA at DemandTec. In 2012, they joined IBM as a Senior Manager, SAAS Production Operations, and in 2017, they moved to HCL Technologies as a General Manager, SaaS Global Delivery Team. In 2020, they founded and became the Director of Think Simple Consulting, and in 2021, they became the VP of Strategy at ScaleCapacity.

Sophia Prestin obtained their Master's degree in Applied Mathematics from Gubkin Russian State University of Oil and Gas (National Research University) between 1981 and 1986.
