Yaojie Li has worked in the tech industry for over 10 years. From 2018 to present, they have served as a Senior Technical Marketing Engineer and Application Engineer at ScaleFlux. In their role as Application Engineer, they have defined and deployed complicated distributed computer platforms with Apache Hadoop and Spark, designed and deployed benchmarks on large scale database systems, and developed and analyzed test data with various data visualization tools. From 2015 to 2018, they worked as a Junior Software Developer at Ai^n Inc, where they wrote, updated, and maintained Shutterstock electronic components transaction platforms, developed Restful APIs using WCF, Entity Framework and C#, and corrected errors by making appropriate changes and then rechecking the program to ensure desired results were produced. Finally, from 2009 to 2014, they worked as a Testing Engineer at United Information Technology (UIT), where they set up databases, compiled documents about clients, communicated with suppliers and clients, trained distributors about products, tested performance, function and stability of self-developed and OEM products, wrote test reports, took responsibility for regular meetings and management of quality control and work administration platforms, managed ERP servers, and maintained office networks.

Yaojie Li obtained a Bachelor of Engineering in Material Science from Southwest Jiaotong University between 2005 and 2009. Yaojie then went on to obtain a Master of Science in Computer Science from the New York Institute of Technology between 2013 and 2015. In 2017, Yaojie Li obtained an AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate certification from Amazon.
