Emily Welch

Emily Welch is an accomplished professional with a strong background in environmental sustainability and operations management. Currently serving as an Account Operations Manager at Scaler Global since June 2023, Emily previously held the position of Private Sector Engagement Intern at the World Wildlife Fund, where research focused on sustainability and ESG best practices in the retail grocery industry. Earlier experiences include roles as a Sustainable Materials Management Intern at the Connecticut Department of Energy and Environmental Protection, and as a Farming and Sustainability Intern at The Hickories, gaining hands-on experience in environmentally responsible farming practices. Additionally, Emily contributed to conservation research as a Research Intern at Centre ValBio under Dr. Patricia Wright. Emily holds a Bachelor's degree in Environmental Sociology and Political Science from Vanderbilt University, with a minor in Spanish, and has furthered education at the Universitat de Barcelona.
