Michael Bassin

Michael Bassin has a diverse work experience spanning from 2007 to 2023. Michael co-founded Talent Sam in 2023, which focuses on identifying, hiring, and managing outsourced employees. Before that, they co-founded and served as CEO of ScaleUpSales Ltd, which provided lead generation and sales enablement services. From 2015 to 2018, Michael was the Chief Revenue Officer at FirstImpression.io, a B2B SaaS ad product creation platform. Prior to that, they were the Vice President of Business Development at adCore, where they oversaw the sales operation and managed a team. Earlier in their career, Michael worked as an International Trade Consultant, helping companies expand in the Middle East and Africa, and as a Combat Arabic Translator in the Israeli Defense Forces. Michael also worked as a Sales Manager at The Washington Post, where they sold advertising space and exceeded monthly sales goals.

Michael Bassin attended Sycamore High School from 2000 to 2004. Michael then pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in International Affairs and Economics at The George Washington University from 2005 to 2007. In 2006, they participated in a semester exchange program at the American University of Sharjah, focusing on Economics, Middle Eastern Studies, and Arabic. Additionally, Michael completed a Summer Arabic Program at The American University in Cairo in 2006, where they studied Literary Arabic and Egyptian colloquial.
