Marc Villemade

Marc Villemade has a diverse work experience spanning multiple companies and roles. Marc initially worked as a Senior Development Engineer at Multimania SAS, where they focused on web development and creating a secure PHP/MYSQL environment. Marc then moved on to Lycos Europe, where they served as a Senior System Engineer and Architecture and Engineering Team Leader. In this role, they were responsible for code patching and ensuring quality and security for classic hosting software. Marc also worked on projects such as the VDS Project, which involved virtualized hosting, and the setup of a new datacenter. Following their time at Lycos Europe, Villemade became an Architecture Consultant at MVC, providing consultancy services for architecture-related projects. Marc then joined Bizanga as an International Account Representative and later as a Customer Solutions Engineer. At Bizanga, they handled customer contacts and special needs. Subsequently, they transitioned to Bizanga Store and worked as a Sales Executive. Finally, Villemade joined Scality, where they held various roles, including Business Development Manager, Solutions Architect - Evangelist, and Chief Solutions Architect and Director of Sales Engineering for North America. In these roles, they focused on partnership ecosystem development and creating added value solutions.

Marc Villemade attended Pierre and Marie Curie University, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Physics from 1994 to 1997. Marc further pursued their education at the university and obtained a DEUST degree in Computer Science from 1998 to 2000.
