Jill McGougan has a wealth of work experience in various roles and industries. Jill started their career as a Teacher at Vernon Middle School in the Ontario-Montclair School District in 2000. Following that, they transitioned to the political sector, serving as a Field Representative to Gloria Negrete McLeod in the California State Assembly from 2001 to 2004.

In 2005, Jill entered the healthcare industry and joined Molina Healthcare. Over the course of their tenure at Molina, they held several leadership positions, including Director of Cultural and Linguistic Specialist II, Healthcare Services Program Manager, Director of Program Development in Healthcare Services, Director of Projects, Director of Strategic Initiatives and Project Management Office, and Program Director of Network. Jill'sroles at Molina spanned from 2005 to 2020.

Most recently, Jill joined SCAN in 2020 as the Medi-Cal Operations Manager. Jill has since been promoted to the role of Director of Duals Operations, a position they currently hold.

Jill McGougan holds a Professional Development Certificate in Health Care Innovation from the University of Pennsylvania, completed in 2022. Jill also obtained a Certificate of Completion in Project Management from California State University-Dominguez Hills in 2016. Jill holds a Master of Arts degree in Cultural Studies from Claremont Graduate University, earned between 2003 and 2005. Jill'sundergraduate education includes a Bachelor of Arts degree in Chicano Studies/ Latin American Studies from Pitzer College, completed from 1996 to 2000.
