Nancy Monk has over 35 years of work experience in the healthcare industry. Their most recent role was as the Chief Operations Officer at SCAN Health Plan, where they led the company's operations. Prior to that, they served as the Chief Administrative Officer and Chief Risk Officer at SCAN Health Plan. Nancy also worked at UnitedHealthcare as the Senior Vice President of Regulatory Affairs, where they were responsible for managing regulatory compliance. Nancy also held various leadership roles at PacifiCare Health Systems and National Medical Enterprises. Nancy began their career as an Administrative Fellow at the Illinois Hospital Association/Rush Presbyterian St. Luke's Medical Center. Nancy also has experience in consumer affairs at Maxicare.
Nancy Monk received a BA in Politics from Mount Holyoke College in the years 1978 to 1982. Nancy then pursued further education and earned an MBA from UCLA Anderson School of Management, as well as an MPH from UCLA Fielding School of Public Health, spanning the years 1984 to 1987.
