Jeff Townsend

Jeff Townsend has a diverse range of experience in the field of financial analysis and planning. Jeff worked as a Principal Financial Analyst at SCAN Health Plan, where they managed the administration of IBM Cognos TM1 and Planning Analytics Local systems. Jeff also designed import/export interfaces with accounting ERP systems and created data entry forms.

Prior to that, Jeff served as a Cognos BI, Planning, and CPM Consultant as an independent contractor. During this time, they provided consultation services for IBM Cognos and worked on various projects related to BI, planning, and corporate performance management.

Before becoming an independent consultant, Jeff worked as a Planning and BI Consultant at CBRE, where they created IBM Cognos EP and TM1 planning solutions for annual budgets and forecasts. Jeff also developed BI reports using MS SQL Server data marts.

Jeff's earlier experience includes working as a Cognos Planning Consultant at Aviana (at AECOM), where they developed planning solutions and enhanced corporate profit and loss models. Jeff also worked as a Senior BI and Planning Consultant at Aviana Global Technologies, where they gained experience in project management, software installation, model design, and report development.

Throughout their career, Jeff has worked with various industries, including government, education, retail, manufacturing, automotive, private equity, and restaurants. Jeff possesses advanced skills in report development, query structures, and dashboard-style reporting.

Jeff Townsend has a Master of Environmental Management (MEM) degree from Duke University. Jeff also has a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree from the University of California, Davis, with a major in Ecology and minors in Statistics and Computer Programming.
