Michael Plumb

Michael Plumb is Chief Financial Officer of SCAN Health Plan and SCAN Group and is responsible for financial operations, including financial planning and analysis, actuarial, and accounting.

Michael, a healthcare finance veteran with extensive expertise in commercial and Medicare Advantage health plans, as well as in clinical operations and care delivery platforms, served most recently as Chief Financial Officer of CareMore Health and Aspire Health, working to expand the organization’s geographic footprint and diversify product and service offerings. Prior to his role at CareMore, he served as VP of Healthcare Economics for United Healthcare’s Medicare division and held financial leadership positions at Kaiser and PacifiCare.

Michael graduated from the University of California, San Diego with a bachelor’s degree in economics and has a masters in business administration from the Haas School of Business at the University of California, Berkeley.
