Viraj Desilva

Viraj Desilva has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Viraj started their career as an Oracle Database Administrator at ictp Technology in 2001 and worked there until 2003. Viraj then joined New Solutions, Inc. as a .NET Developer/Oracle DBA, where they stayed until 2007. In the same year, they joined Healthfirst as a SAS programmer for a few months. Currently, they hold multiple positions at SCAN, including Director of Encounter Operations and Analytics, Healthcare Informatics Manager - Encounter Analytics, and Lead Informatics Specialist.

Viraj Desilva received a Bsc in Electrical Engineering from UCLA in 2001. Viraj later pursued a Msc in Biostatistics from Rutgers University, completing their studies in 2007.
