David M Webber, PhD has extensive work experience in both academia and industry. From 2002 to 2010, they worked as a Graduate Student at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. In this role, they served as the Principal Investigator, responsible for developing real-time algorithms to track multiple people simultaneously on a smart floor mat sensor array for occupancy counting and HVAC energy savings.
