Stefan Dragnev

Stefan Dragnev has a diverse work experience spanning over 15 years. Stefan began their career in 2006 at Masthead Studios, where they worked as a Lead Developer on the Earthrise MMORPG, contributing to various aspects such as network stack, lighting & shadowing engine, HDR & postprocessing, and more. Stefan then moved on to work as a Technical Director at Savage Dreams Ltd from 2010 to 2011.

In 2012, Stefan joined Telerik as a Senior Developer, where they took on the development of the Telerik JustMock .NET profiler and eventually became a Technical Lead until 2016. Following this, they joined ProUnix GmbH as a Full-stack Software Developer from 2016 to 2017.

Most recently, Stefan worked at Scanbot, starting in 2018 as a Developer, focusing on Machine Learning & Computer Vision, before being promoted to the role of Head of Machine Learning, Research and Development in June 2020.

Stefan Dragnev began their education in 2006 at Sofia University St. Kliment Ohridski, where they studied Computer Science. However, they dropped out in the same year. In 2014, they attended New Bulgarian University and pursued a degree in Informatics, but subsequently dropped out again. Alongside their academic pursuits, Stefan also obtained several certifications. In 2013, they received the MCS certification in Programming in C# from Microsoft, as well as the MCTS certification in Windows Applications Development with Microsoft .NET Framework 4. Additionally, Stefan obtained the Goethe-Zertifikat C1 from Goethe-Institut e.V. in December 2016.
