Grace Akred

Grace Akred has over 30 years of work experience in the field of clinical research and project management. Grace is currently employed as a Senior Clinical Research Associate at Scancell Ltd since November 2022. Prior to this, Grace worked at Iqvia Biotech from October 2020 to November 2022 in the same role. Grace also has extensive experience at Micron Research Ltd, where they held the position of Senior Clinical Research Associate from March 2006 to September 2020. Grace's earlier work experience includes roles at Schering-Plough Research Institute, where they served as a Project Manager from November 2001 to November 2004 and as a Clinical Development Executive from November 1999 to October 2001. Before that, they worked as a Clinical Research Associate at Bio Products Laboratory from October 1995 to June 1999. Grace began their career at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital as a Flow Cytometry Specialist from September 1989 to June 1995.

Grace Akred obtained their Bachelor's degree in Biological Sciences from the University of Essex, which they attended from 1986 to 1989. Following this, they pursued further academic advancement and completed a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Immunology at the University of London from 1989 to 1995.
