Rune Bjerk

Rune Bjerk is an experienced professional in the technical and safety management sector, currently serving as the Teknisk og sikkerhets sjef at Scandic Hotels in Bergen since March 2022, overseeing technical operations and fire safety. Prior to this role, Bjerk held the position of Teknisk sjef at De Bergenske, managing technical and fire safety responsibilities for a group of five-star hotels and thirteen restaurants in Bergen from September 2021 to March 2022. Bjerk's extensive background includes leadership as Vedlikeholdsleder and fagansvarlig Industrivern at Godman Lindås and Driftsleder at Vestland fylkeskommune. Bjerk also spent over two decades as Vaktmester for Balestrand Kommune, responsible for the operation of municipal properties and is the owner of Sogn Bygg og Eigedomsdrift.
