Axel Olsson

Axel Olsson is a Development Engineer at Scania Group since February 2022, specializing in Powertrain Control Test Environments, Software-in-the-Loop, and Hardware-in-the-Loop as a Model Developer. Previously, as a Master Thesis Student, Axel focused on regenerative braking in electric vehicles, addressing limitations related to electric machine capacity. In the summer of 2021, Axel contributed to the R&D section at Scania Group, automating vehicle simulation processes using Matlab, Python, and Batch scripting. Axel holds a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering with a specialization in computational mechanics from Luleå University of Technology and is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics at Stockholm University.
