Boominathan Thangam

Boominathan Thangam is a Product Test Engineer specializing in Gearbox Assembly at Scania Group since September 2022. Previously, Boominathan contributed as a Master Thesis Student at Autoliv, focusing on machine learning to improve rib fracture risk predictions through vehicle crash simulations using LS-DYNA. Prior to that, Boominathan worked as a Design and Production Engineer at TrashCon, where responsibilities included creating 3-D CAD models and drawings for industrial shredder components in SOLIDWORKS. Boominathan holds a Master's degree in Applied Mechanics from Chalmers University of Technology and a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from PES College of Engineering.
