Emil Axelson

Emil Axelson has extensive experience in sustainable development and engineering, currently serving as Head of Sustainability Analysis at Scania Group since May 2003, where responsibilities include oversight of energy economy, product sustainability, and compliance with global CO2 regulations. Emil has held various leadership positions at Scania, such as Head of Business Development and Infrastructure and Project Leader for Fleet Management Systems and predevelopment of electronics, focusing on IT system development and process improvements. Prior to Scania, Emil worked as a sailing coach for the Swedish National Sailing Team and held engineering roles at Reddo Networks, IconMedialab, Evidente AB, and Saab Aerotech. Emil holds a Master of Science degree in Fluid Mechanics from KTH Royal Institute of Technology.
