Prajwal Shankar

Prajwal Shankar is a Technical Project Leader at Scania Group since August 2017, focusing on pre-development projects and portfolio management of Exhaust After-treatment Systems for Scania and Traton applications. Prior roles at Scania include Lead Engineer and Development Engineer, where responsibilities involved the development of modular exhaust after-treatment systems and simulation-driven design. Previously, Prajwal worked as a Mechanical Engineering Consultant at Altran and as a Master Thesis Student at Scania Group, where a methodology for optimizing topological CAD models was developed. Additional experience includes roles at LiU Formula Student in chassis design and testing, an internship at XperDi AB optimizing CAD tools, and as a Design Engineer at Cyient, specializing in parametric modeling and assembly documentation. Prajwal holds a Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Linköping University and a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Dr. Ambedkar Institute of Technology.
