Jean Daavettila

Jean Daavettila is a seasoned mechanical engineer with extensive experience in medical device design and development. Currently serving as a Project Engineer at Scanlan International, Inc. since September 2015, Jean leads projects from concept to production, managing 510(k) submissions and supplier relationships. Previously held the position of Sr. Mechanical Engineer at Nestle HealthCare Nutrition from June 2012 to September 2015, focusing on the design of components for medical devices. Jean's engineering journey began at IntriCon Corp, where responsibilities included designing hearing aids from concept to finished product for over 26 years, and early career experience included mechanical design at Pacer Technical. Jean holds a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Minnesota and an Associate's degree in Industry and Technology from Northern Michigan University.
