Yoann Schmid

Yoann Schmid is a seasoned Lighting Artist with extensive experience in the visual effects industry. Currently at Scanline VFX since August 2025, Yoann's previous roles include Lighting Artist at Digital Domain from June 2021 to July 2025, where contributions were made to notable projects such as "The Electric State," "Captain America: Brave New World," and "Spider-Man: No Way Home." Earlier experience includes serving as a Lighter / 3D Generalist at Scanline VFX from December 2016 to May 2021, with significant involvement in "Shang-Chi And The Legend Of The Ten Rings" and "Zack Snyder’s Justice League." Yoann started in the industry at MPC as a Lighting Artist and Lighting TD from January 2015 to December 2016, working on films like "The Jungle Book" and "The Martian." Educational background includes studies at Objectif 3D, ESMA, and other institutions, spanning from 2001 to 2013.
