Toby J Sutton OBE

Toby J Sutton OBE has an extensive work experience in various roles and companies. Currently, they are serving as the Co-Founder & Chief Strategy Officer of Empowering Tech, a holding company for several organizations including Scanning Pens Holdings Ltd, Succeed With Dyslexia Ltd, Squid People Ltd, and Wizcom Tech Ltd. Toby J co-founded Scanning Pens in 2002 and holds multiple roles in the company's subsidiaries including Scanning Pens Ltd, Scanning Pens Inc, Scanning Pens Pty Ltd, Scanning Pens Corp, Scanning Pens (India) Pvt Ltd, and Scanning Pens Holdings Ltd. In 2017, they co-founded Succeed With Dyslexia, a global movement promoting positivity surrounding dyslexia. Additionally, they co-founded Squid People in 2020, an all-in-one global marketing solution. In 2021, they started Wizcom Tech, where they serve as the owner and utilizes over 25 years of industry knowledge to develop innovative pen scanner technology. Toby J Sutton OBE also has experience as the Owner & CEO of e-pens Ltd from 2010 to 2018 and as the Co-Founder & Managing Director of Great Britain Shop Ltd from 2012 to 2016 and Winston Churchill Shop Ltd from 2004 to 2012. Earlier in their career, they worked in product development at E-Loft and owned Student Life.

Toby J Sutton OBE completed their education history with a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) degree in Religion, Philosophy, and Ethics from The Open University, which they pursued from 2022 to 2029. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Science (Honours) degree in Hotel & Restaurant Management from Oxford Brookes University, which they pursued from 1995 to 1999. Earlier in their education, Toby attended Gresham's School from 1989 to 1994, where they completed their GCSEs and A Levels.
