Julian Coccia

Julian Coccia is a seasoned technology leader with extensive experience in open source management and software transparency. Currently serving as Founder and CEO of Fossity since February 2023, Julian is focused on reinventing Open Source auditing through a unique zero trust approach that emphasizes privacy and efficiency. Prior roles include Chief Technology Officer at SCANOSS and Head of Project Office at the Software Transparency Foundation, both held since November and December 2021, respectively. Julian has also led the Open Source Program Office at BINARC and co-founded FossID AB, where the role of Co-Founder & CTO was held from December 2016 to June 2018. With a background as an Open Source Management Expert at Ericsson and experience in FOSS Management at ST-Ericsson, Julian has consistently contributed to advancements in software auditing and transparency.
