Rafal Mazurek

Rafal Mazurek is a skilled engineer with extensive experience in test development, design, and research. Currently serving as a Test Development Engineer at Scanreco Group since September 2021, Rafal previously worked as a Design and Development Engineer at Renishaw UK & Ireland from May 2013 to April 2020. Prior to that, Rafal held the position of Research Associate at Cardiff University, focusing on advanced measurements and finite element modeling of magnetic devices. Rafal holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Magnetism from Cardiff University, with a thesis investigating the effects of burrs on three-phase transformer cores. Additionally, Rafal earned an MSc in Electronics and Telecommunication from Lodz University of Technology. Early experience includes roles as an electronic circuit fitter and tester while pursuing academic studies and volunteering with the City of Lodz Office.
