Denis Ganin has worked in the field of optics since 2015. Denis started their career as a Research Associate at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT), where they fabricated the world's smallest borescope system prototype and invented a method for cavity shape reconstruction in exact units. Denis then moved on to become a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the Tyndall National Institute in 2021, where they developed a laser-based tool for analyzing surface roughness of machined parts and improved the automated optical instrument on state-of-the-art in terms of speed, cost and flexibility. In 2022, they began working as a Laser Application Engineer at Scantinel Photonics and as a Research and Development Scientist at OptoSurf GmbH.
Denis Ganin has a comprehensive educational background. Denis obtained a Bachelor's degree in Engineering Physics/Applied Physics from Saint Petersburg State University between 2008 and 2012. Denis then earned a Master's degree in Physics from Università di Trento between 2012 and 2015. Currently, they are a PhD Candidate in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT). Denis has also obtained various certifications, such as Change Management Foundations from LinkedIn in 2021, Jira: Basic Administration from LinkedIn in 2021, Project Management Foundations: Requirements from LinkedIn in 2021, and Time Management Fundamentals from Lynda.com in 2016.
