Tim Hadsel-Mares

Tim Hadsel-Mares has worked in a variety of roles since 1997. Their first job was as an Expedition Assistant for the Earthwatch Institute. Tim then worked as a Professional Tennis Instructor for Topnotch Resort and Spa, where they were part of a five person teaching-team that was ranked #4 in the US for tennis academies by Tennis Magazine. In 2006, they worked as an Assistant to the Communication Director for the American Chamber of Commerce in Thailand and also as a Business Development/Account Planning for Grey Group. Tim then moved to International Environmental Management (IEM) as Regional Development Manager, where they managed projects based in Thailand, Vietnam, Cambodia, Myanmar, Qatar, and Iraq. In 2010, they joined Copperweld Bimetallics LLC as Business Development Director, and in 2016 they joined ScanTrust as Regional Director and Regional Director South East Asia. In this role, they worked with the head office in Switzerland and regional product team in Shanghai to develop go to market strategies, grow their partnership network, identify and pitch their solution to new customers, and provide account management support through project delivery and after-sales support.

Tim Hadsel-Mares completed their High School degree at Kent School from 1999 to 2001. Tim then attended the University of Richmond from 2001 to 2005 and earned their Bachelor of Arts degree. In 2003, they participated in an Exchange Program at Charles University in Economics. Tim also participated in an Exchange Program at Thammasat University in 2004, also in Economics. Finally, they completed their Master of Science degree in Natural Resource Economics at Chulalongkorn University from 2009 to 2010.
