Alicia Vandermeer

President & CEO, SHN Foundation at SHN

Alicia Vandermeer is the President & CEO of the SHN Foundation at SHN. Alicia has held this position since December 2019.

Vandermeer began their career in 1993 as the Executive Director of The Canadian Hearing Society Foundation. Alicia then worked as a Senior Consultant for DVA Navion from 1998 to 2000. In January 2000, they joined the Art Gallery of Ontario as the Deputy Director & Chief Advancement Officer. Alicia held this position for 19 years until they were appointed as the President & CEO of the SHN Foundation at SHN in December 2019.

Alicia Vandermeer has a MBA in Marketing and Entrepreneurial Studies from the Schulich School of Business - York University. Alicia also has a Museum Executive Development Program from the Museum Leadership Institute. Lastly, they have a BA in Urban Studies from the University of Toronto - Victoria University.
