Michele Goddard

Michele Goddard is the current Director at SHN. Prior to this, they were with Bridgepoint Active Healthcare and Sinai Health System. Michele has also worked with BMO Nesbitt Burns as the Senior Vice-President and Managing Director, Client Strategy and Execution from January 1989 to December 2018.

Michele is known for their work in leading a cultural change initiative to compete in the marketplace on client experience. Michele has also been successful in achieving buy-in from stakeholders, developing and implementing the Net Promoter Score survey to measure client loyalty and reaching out to clients to probe on their experience. Thanks to their efforts, BMO Nesbitt Burns achieved industry leading client loyalty scores in 2018 (#1 in J.D. Power of the bank-owned dealers) and higher revenue.

In addition, Michele led the design, testing and implementation of a digital account opening process that resulted in a 90% reduction in forms and funding accounts four days faster.

Michele Goddard has a background in business and management, with a focus on leadership development. Michele has completed several programs at the University of Toronto's Rotman School of Management, including the Directors Education Program and the Honours Bachelor of Arts in Commerce and Political Science. Michele is also a Fellow of the Canadian Securities Institute (FCSI) and has completed the Canadian Securities Course (1985) and the Partners, Officers & Directors Course (1999). In addition, they have completed the Managerial Leadership Learning Stream (2003) and the Advanced Leadership Program (2009) at BMO Leadership Courses. Michele is also Six Sigma certified from Six Sigma Canada in Six Sigma - Champion.
