Andrew Bowden

Andrew Bowden is an experienced engineering professional currently serving as the Senior Engineering Manager for Innovation and Optimization at Scatec ASA since August 2018. In this role, Andrew focuses on enhancing the Engineering and Technology team's capabilities to support project opportunities by driving cost reductions and improved production outcomes. Responsibilities include managing a diverse portfolio encompassing tools, processes, Technical Due Diligence, and digital initiatives across various disciplines such as solar, wind, and hydropower. Prior to joining Scatec, Andrew accumulated substantial experience at Arup, holding positions including Engineering Manager, Senior Engineer, and Electro Mechanical Engineer from January 2010 to July 2018. Andrew holds a Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering and a Bachelor’s degree in Electro-Mechanical Engineering from the University of Cape Town.
