Caroline C. Sissener is a seasoned executive in the renewable energy sector, currently serving as Senior Vice President of Asset Ownership at Scatec ASA since May 2014. With extensive experience in business development, project finance, and asset ownership across Latin America and the Middle East & North Africa (MENA), Caroline has held various strategic roles, including Vice President of MENA & Green H2, where responsibilities included leading asset ownership and project development. Significant achievements include managing renewable energy portfolios in Asia and overseeing the first utility-scale solar PV plant in East Africa as Chair of Gigawatt Global Rwanda. Caroline has also contributed as an Executive Director at Central Solar de Mocuba in Mozambique and held directorships across Scatec Solar's operations in India, Malaysia, Vietnam, and other regions. Caroline's academic foundation includes a Master of Science in Investment Management from Bayes Business School and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Bentley University, complemented by various leadership training programs.
