Jorge José

Jorge José has extensive experience working in project planning and civil engineering roles. Jorge started their career as a Computer Aided Design Drafter in 2011 while being self-employed. Jorge then worked as an Inspector at The Louis Berger Group in 2013 before transitioning to a Civil Engineer role at BTC Ltd. In 2014, they joined Vale as a Civil Engineer, where they were involved in the Nacala Railway Corridor Project. Currently, Jorge José is working at Scatec ASA, where they started as a Project Planner and later moved up to the position of Lead Project Planner, overseeing project control and contractor reviews.

Jorge José completed a Licentiate degree in Civil Engineering from ISUTC - Instituto Superior de Transportes e Comunicações in 2012. Jorge has also obtained several certifications in project management, agile project management, algorithms, data foundations, and POPIA in 2023 from various institutions including Grow with Google on Coursera and Compliance Online (Pty) Ltd.
