Piraporn Lerstaveesin, PMP

Piraporn Lerstaveesin, PMP has over 15 years of experience in Project Management and Technical Support. Since 2018, they have been a Senior Project Manager at SCB Abacus. Prior to that, they were a Senior Project Manager and 3rd Level Support/Support Group Leader at Thomson Reuters from 2003 to 2018. In their role as Senior Project Manager at Thomson Reuters, they managed software development and infrastructure implementation projects from project requirement to deployment into production. The software was typically developed on Windows Server platform using Java, C, and C++ and making use of market technologies. As 3rd Level Support/Support Group Leader, they provided technical support to Reuters customers globally on the Reuters Market Data System (RMDS) which is the core infrastructure delivering real-time financial data. The software was developed on C/C++ and running on UNIX system and their job involved problem investigation and providing resolution/workaround in a timely manner.

Piraporn Lerstaveesin, PMP, obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Computer Science from Chulalongkorn University in 2000, following a four-year program from 1996. Piraporn then went on to pursue a Master of Science (MS) in Computer Science at Central Michigan University, completing the program in 2002.
