Barton Legum

Barton Legum is an experienced legal professional currently serving as the Vice-Chair and a member of the Board of Directors at SCC Arbitration Institute since January 2018. As a Founding Partner at Honlet Legum Arbitration since January 2022, Barton continues to contribute to the field of arbitration. Prior experience includes a tenure as Partner and Global Co-Chair of Litigation and Dispute Resolution at Dentons from January 2009 to January 2022 and serving as Counsel at Debevoise & Plimpton LLP from 2004 to 2008. Barton held leadership roles, including Chair and Chair-Elect, in the American Bar Association's Section of International Law from August 2011 to August 2013. Educational credentials include a J.D. magna cum laude from the University of Georgia School of Law, a D.E.A. in Public International Law from Paris-Pantheon-Assas University, and a Bachelor of Arts in English and Managerial Studies from Rice University.
