Gareth James

Gareth James currently serves as the Head of Cyber Security Architecture at SCC, where responsibilities include leading Product Architecture, Automation, and Pre-Sales teams to deliver innovative security solutions, particularly focusing on Microsoft Defender XDR, Sentinel, Entra, Purview, and Tenable. Prior to this role, Gareth was the Head of Security Architecture at Six Degrees Group, overseeing the technical design of new security services within Microsoft 365 and Azure. Gareth's extensive experience in cybersecurity also includes various positions at CNS - Cyber Security Specialists, ranging from Cyber Security Architect to SOC Analyst - Level 2, and earlier roles in network support and IT technician positions. Gareth holds an MSc in Computer Systems Security and a BSc (Hons) in Information and Communication Technology from the University of South Wales.
