Fabian Schapiro

Fabian Schapiro is currently the VP, Head of Europe & Canada Business Unit at SCD, where they leverage extensive marketing and sales experience alongside a solid scientific foundation. Previously, they served as the Marketing and Sales Vice President at DIR Technologies from 2012 to 2018, contributing to the evolution of infra-red technology and its market applications. With a background that includes roles as a characterization engineer at Tadiran and key positions at SCD, Fabian was instrumental in transforming SCD into the largest manufacturer of infra-red sensors worldwide, driving annual sales from $10M to $150M. They hold a BSc in Physics and Mathematics and an MSc in Applied Physics, both from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem.
