Chris Hardcastle

Chris Hardcastle has over 20 years of experience in the animation industry. From 2000 to 2004, they worked as a 3D Designer at Bionic Productions. Chris then moved to Mainframe, where they held the role of Head of Production from 2004 to 2008. In 2008, they became a Partner/MD at Mainframe North. Most recently, in 2019, they co-founded Scene Group Ltd and is currently the CEO, building the future of 2D animation with Cavalry.

Chris Hardcastle began their educational journey at Dr Challoner's Grammar School from 1987 to 1993, where they completed their GCSE and A-Levels. Chris then attended Amersham College in 1993-1994 to obtain an Art Foundation. Finally, they graduated from Birmingham City University in 1997 with a BA (Hons) in 3d Design (Furniture).
