Matthew Harris

Matthew Harris is an experienced legal executive and advisor, currently serving as the Executive Director, Legal and Chief Privacy Officer at Scene+. With a background in commercial law, they have provided strategic legal counsel in the CPG, food, beverage, agribusiness, retail, and quick service restaurant industries. Previously, Matthew held key legal roles at Truss Beverage Co. and Tilray Brands, where they contributed to corporate governance and significant acquisitions. Their legal career began at McCarthy Tétrault, where they worked for nearly a decade and achieved notable success in business law. Matthew earned a B.A. in Political Science from the University of Calgary and an LL.B. from Dalhousie University.
