Brent Berg

Brent Berg has extensive work experience in project management and IT roles. Brent started their career in 1997 as a Technical Consultant/Analyst at COMSYS, where they analyzed, designed, and implemented small networking systems. Brent also provided product administration and support for server monitoring software. In 2001, Brent joined Comsys as a Project Manager, leading a team of developers working on network printer management and port monitoring software for Hewlett-Packard. Brent was responsible for budget management, project communications, and personnel management. In 2005, they moved to WillowTree Software as a Project Manager, overseeing a team of developers working on web and Windows-based development projects. Brent'sresponsibilities included project scoping, resource management, and creating project proposals. From 2006 to 2008, Brent worked at Workscape as a Project Manager, where they managed outsourced benefits administration software development projects and built client relationships. Since 2008, Brent has been working at Scentsy, Inc. In their current role as Director of the Office of the CTO, they are responsible for strategic planning and managing teams of technical resources. Brent was previously an IT and Project Manager at Scentsy, overseeing middleware and managing teams of Engineers and DBAs.

Brent Berg obtained an Associate's degree in General Studies from Ricks College from 1982 to 1984. Following that, they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration (BBA) with a focus on Computer Information Systems (CIS) from Idaho State University between 1983 and 1987. In 2007, they obtained a certification in Project Management Professional (PMP) from the Project Management Institute.
