Dennis Arvay has had a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Dennis began their career in 2004 as a Lead Maintenance Technician at Holopack International, where they led a team of technicians and made decisions to maintain high production levels. Dennis then moved on to become a Somax and Spare Parts Controller, responsible for maintaining the maintenance management software system and training users. In 2007, they joined Continental as a Manufacturing Technician, where they performed maintenance and repairs on equipment and led assembly line associates in the absence of the shift coach. Finally, in 2011, they joined SCETV as a Statehouse Program Content Director.
Dennis Arvay pursued their education at Midlands Technical College from 1999 to 2000, where they earned a Certificate in PLC Programming Basic. Prior to that, from 1967 to 1972, they completed a Certificate in Industrial Electrician through the US Steel Corp Trades Apprenticeship program.
