Abhijit Datta

Abhijit Datta has extensive work experience in various management and leadership roles. Abhijit currently serves as the Managing Director at SCG International since January 2020. Prior to this, they worked at SCG as the Country Director - India and India Business Director from February 2018 to December 2019. Before joining SCG, Abhijit served as the CEO of ISS Thailand from June 2014 to January 2018. Abhijit also worked as the CFO of ISS from June 2009 to June 2014. Abhijit was the Managing Director of ISS Support Services at ISS Thailand from October 2011 to February 2014. Prior to their role at ISS, they held the position of CFO - Longson Petrochemicals at SCG from 2008 to 2009. Earlier in their career, Abhijit worked as the CFO at Phoenix Pulp and Paper Public Company Limited from 1999 to 2005. Abhijit also served as the GM Commercial / Mgr Supply & Logistics at Ansell Healthcare from 1995 to 1999. Abhijit's career began at TATA STEEL / TATA TIMKEN, where they worked as an Assistant GM from 1984 to 1994.

Abhijit Datta's education history includes various academic achievements spanning several years. In 1972, they attended Scindia School for an unknown field of study and degree. From 1980 to 1983, they pursued a Bachelor of Commerce degree with a focus on Accounting and Finance at St. Xavier's College. Concurrently, from 1980 to 1984, Abhijit enrolled in The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, where they obtained a CA degree specializing in Accounting and Finance. Later, in the years 2019 to 2021, they attended the Harvard Business School Executive Education for the Senior Executive Leadership Program, concentrating on Senior Leadership.
