Jim Dickinson

Jim Dickinson, PhD has extensive work experience in various organizations. Jim currently holds the position of Chief Learning Officer at SC&H Group since 2021. Previously, they served as the Assistant Vice President for Career Services at Loyola University Maryland from 2016 to 2021. Prior to that, they worked at Johns Hopkins HealthCare as the Director of Operations Training & Development from 2012 to 2016. Jim also served as the Director of Programs and Leadership Development at Business Volunteers Maryland from 2009 to 2012. Additionally, they worked at Erickson Retirement Communities as a Senior Human Resources Analyst and Senior Organization Development Consultant from 2007 to 2009. Jim'scareer started as a Nonprofit Consultant & Researcher at various grantmaking organizations in Baltimore from 2005 to 2007.

Jim Dickinson, PhD, holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology & Writing from Loyola University Maryland. Jim later pursued further education and obtained a Master of Science degree in Applied Psychology from the Wilbur O. and Ann Powers College of Business at Clemson University. Jim has also achieved a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Industrial-Organizational Psychology from Clemson University. In addition to their academic achievements, Jim holds various certifications, including being a Crucial Accountability Certified Trainer and a Crucial Conversations Certified Trainer through Crucial Learning. Jim is also certified as an EQ-i & EQ 360 Emotional Intelligence Assessments practitioner by Multi-Health Systems Inc. Furthermore, Jim is a certified MBTI (Myers-Briggs Type Indicator) Practitioner through the Center for Applications of Psychological Type, Inc. Jim is also a certified Strong Interest Inventory Practitioner by CPP, Inc. Moreover, Jim holds a license as a facilitator for The MAGIC of Customer Relations through Communico.
